- Choctaw: 2 years
- Overall: 10 years
As Coach Corbin begins his 2nd year at Choctaw, his first year witnessed a wide array of successes, including an impressive record breaking season. The
2017 campaign saw many accomplishments including best season start since 1982, second highest win total since 1982, first shutout since 2005, most
football scholarships awarded in school history, Academic State Champions. Other accomplishments include facility upgrades, new alternate uniforms,
new helmet design, new weight equipment, website, and stronger social media presence.
Other additions have includ a partnership with Performance Course for summer training, a partnership with Premiere Passing Academy for QB/WR development,
and The G.O.L.D. Standard Youth Camp to forge lifelong relationships with Choctaw youth.
Coach Corbin and his staff have modeled the Choctaw Football program after the G.O.L.D. Standard. Gratitude, Ownership, Leadership, Discipline are the
pillars in which the program is built. Coach Corbin and his staff continue to set the standard in Leadership Development for young men and believe
that a programs primary responsibility is to develop young men into “Champions of Life”, not just football.
Coach Corbin came to Choctaw after assistant coaching and coordinator roles at Del City, Tulsa Union, Broken Arrow and Head Coaching and Athletic Director
roles at Sapulpa and Del City.
The Corbin house is all Blue and Gold with his wife Destiny, a current teacher at Nicoma Park Intermediate and son Case (6).
Favorite thing about choctaw
"Choctaw has it all. The best Academics, Athletics, Administration, Student-Athletes, Facilities, Community,
and brightest future of any school in Oklahoma. We are able to attract the best of the best as teachers and coaches and our Administration and Community
are so supportive. I feel very grateful to be a part of the G.O.L.D. Standard of Oklahoma High School Football.”
